To the future that no one has seen yet
We are a Japanese company born from a disaster recovery non-profit organization.
In Japan, where there are many wooden houses, I was sorry that there were so many people who died in a fire during a disaster. Therefore, I thought whether the wood, which is a component of wooden houses, could be made non-combustible. That's where SOUFA was born.
Making wood incombustible, flame-retardant, and flame-resistant is an inevitable issue in order to preserve beautiful Japanese wooden buildings for future generations. Also, in recent years, it has been applied to paper, pulp, and other resins because it can impart flame retardancy to cellulol, the main component of wood. Our challenge, including chemical products, has only just begun.
